This past Sunday at the Surviving Strong 3v3 Tournament was more than just a game … it was a full-circle kind of moment.
I had the chance to do what I love … play hockey all day, shoulder-to-shoulder with friends, with my wife on the team, and surrounded by a community that shows up hard … for each other, and for something bigger.
What did this mean for me?
A sponsorship that hit at the core of who I am. I’ve got loved ones affected by cancer … don’t we all? … and Surviving Strong’s mission isn’t just powerful, it’s personal: everyone deserves to feel STRONG, CONFIDENT, and CAPABLE.
Even when I got snuffed out in the video below (yep, that happened 😅), my heart was full.

Together, we raised over $2,000 to help fuel movement, strength, and connection for those navigating life after cancer.

To the Surviving Strong team … you nailed it. It felt like more than a tournament … it felt like community.
Thanks for letting us be part of it. I’m still smiling … and already counting the days until the next one.
