More Than a Game: Why We’re Proud to Sponsor (and Skate in) the Surviving Strong Tournament

We don’t just talk about community—we lace up and get on the ice for it.

On April 27th Hannah and I are hitting the rink for the Surviving Strong 3v3 Hockey Tournament—not just as sponsors, but as teammates. It’s a chance to bring everything we believe in—grit, creativity, connection—into one space where it all just fits. Business and life. Strategy and heart.

This tournament isn’t just another day at the rink. It’s a reminder of what hockey—and community—are all about.

Grit.
Heart.
Showing up.

The cause? One that hits close to home. Surviving Strong is a nonprofit dedicated to lifting up those navigating the long-term impacts of trauma and adversity—mental, physical, emotional, and more. It’s a mission that resonates deeply with us as people, entrepreneurs, and teammates.

It’s also led by someone who inspires us daily: Susan, the founder of Surviving Strong, a teammate of ours on the Cuttlefish, and a true entrepreneur in every sense. She’s built something meaningful from the inside out—and watching this event come to life is nothing short of incredible.

This Saturday’s tournament is about more than just goals and face-offs. It’s about community, healing, and being there for each other when it matters most. And yes, there will be cold drinks, raffles, pizza, and probably some bad line changes—but we’re here for all of it.

Huge shoutout to the other sponsors helping make it happen:

We’re proud to stand alongside them and support this day of purpose, passion, and play.

If you’re local, come out and join the fun. And if you’re not—support the mission at survivingstrong.org.

We’ll see you on the ice.
