There is something powerful about a group of people coming together, rolling up their sleeves, and getting to work for their community.
On September 23, 2026, we held our first MANY Hands United for Impact volunteering event since the official opening of United Way of Bucks County‘s new building. After previously helping prepare the space for opening, our volunteers were excited to return and support the next stage of United Way’s work.
This time, our crew headed into the warehouse portion of the building to tackle a hands-on project: opening boxes, sorting donated goods, and organizing the items so they could be placed in United Way’s storefront. The storefront gives community members access to essential items in a welcoming, dignified environment, and every box processed brought more useful goods one step closer to the people who need them.
A Day of Teamwork
By the end of the volunteer session, the group had emptied and sorted an incredible 172 boxes of goods!
That number represents more than a productive day in the warehouse. Each box contained items that needed to be unpacked, reviewed, sorted, and prepared for the storefront. Sorting through 172 boxes created meaningful progress for the United Way team and helped ensure the new facility can continue serving the community efficiently. It was a true team effort and another reminder of what can happen when many hands work toward one shared purpose.
Thank You to Our Volunteers
We are grateful to everyone who showed up and got to work:

Each person brought energy, enthusiasm, and a willingness to help. That spirit is exactly what MANY Hands United for Impact is all about: creating an easy way for local professionals, business owners, friends, and community members to turn good intentions into meaningful action.
Continuing Our Partnership With United Way
United Way’s new building is designed to expand the organization’s ability to support local individuals and families. Seeing the warehouse and storefront in action made it especially rewarding to know that our work would have an immediate, practical impact.
Our partnership with United Way has already given us opportunities to help prepare its new location, bring volunteers together, and support the systems that make its community programs possible. We are proud to continue that partnership now that the building is officially open.
Today’s event also reinforced something we have seen again and again: community impact does not always require a grand gesture. Sometimes it looks like opening one box, sorting one group of items, or giving a few hours of your day. When enough people do those small things together, the result can be 172 completed boxes and a warehouse that is much closer to being ready for the people it serves.
Many Hands, United for Impact
Thank you to United Way for welcoming us back, and thank you to every volunteer who helped make the day such a success. We are excited to keep building on this momentum and creating more opportunities for our community to serve together.
