On Wednesday, June 10, 2026, the MANY crew and friends came together for another MANY Hands United for Impact quarterly volunteer day at the Bucks County United Way.
This time, the mission was a little different. Instead of sorting, stocking, and packing donations, our group helped United Way begin setting up its new location in Levittown.
About 15 volunteers showed up ready to build, lift, assemble, organize, and figure out which tiny Allen wrench went with which screw. By the end of the morning, the group had assembled about 10 clothing racks, 15 carts, two lockers as well as various tables and standing desks.
Not bad for a three-hour volunteer day!
Getting to Work
The day started with boxes. A lot of boxes.
Once everyone arrived, the group split into teams and got right to work assembling the pieces United Way needs to serve families in its new space. Clothing racks came together. Carts were built. Lockers were assembled. Tables and standing desks were unpacked, moved, and put in place.
There was plenty of teamwork, a few “wait, where does this screw go?” moments, and the kind of steady progress that only happens when people show up ready to help.
This group always knows how to make even assembly projects fun. Before long, volunteers were timing themselves, splitting into teams, and seeing who could put things together faster. A little friendly competition made the morning move quickly, and somehow, a room full of boxes turned into racks, carts, lockers, tables, and desks.
Every rack, cart, table, and desk brings United Way one step closer to opening a space that can serve local families with care, dignity, and ease.
Community in Action
One of the best parts of every MANY Hands volunteer day is seeing who shows up.
This event brought together business owners, community leaders, partners, friends, and members of the extended MANY network. Everyone came from different places, different industries, and different organizations, but for one morning, the goal was simple: help United Way get closer to opening the doors of its new location.
A special thank you to our volunteers:

These volunteer days are a reminder that community work does not always look glamorous. Sometimes it looks like cardboard, bolts, instruction manuals, and a room full of people building furniture together… and that’s the whole point!
The work matters because it supports the people doing the daily work on the ground. It matters because United Way serves families across Bucks County who need access to resources, care, and support. It matters because when local businesses and neighbors come together, big projects start to feel a lot more possible.
Helping businesses grow is our mission. Helping our community thrive is part of that same story.
What’s Next
MANY Hands United for Impact happens quarterly, and each volunteer day gives our community another chance to show up, serve, and put good energy into action.
Thank you to everyone who spent the morning building, lifting, organizing, and laughing through the occasional mystery hardware situation.
Here’s to more helping hands, more local good, and more reasons to be proud of this community!
